Ted Brinegar

Foxhole Homes

Ted Brinegar’s ministry to our homeless veterans in Alamogordo, New Mexico, has brought him into a close relationship with local code officials and builders and other concerned citizens. Together, they are building a village of permitted low-cost homes that provide for their own heating and cooling and power and water needs in a way that can be successfully repeated elsewhere.

Ted will be speaking at the Texas Fairs

If it seems like the building codes, the inspector, the neighbors, and your sweetie are all conspiring to keep you from building the Ultimate Off-grid Eco-regenerative Superhouse (or even just a weekend cabin) from things you found in the Dumpster, hear Uncle Mud and Earthship-builder and community organizer Ted Brinegar of Foxhole Homes discuss innovative, low-cost housing for the DIY crowd. Find out how to get to yes! Give them what they want without giving up your dream.
