Planning for Farm Legacy

Family farms are an integral component of America’s economy and history. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service though, the number of working farms in the country has declined from 2.17 million in 2009 to 2.06 million in 2016. If you want to continue a farming legacy, by purchasing or sustaining a farm, plan to attend this dynamic workshop. Led by a panel of experts in farm financing, the legal transition process, government grants and the upcoming Farm Bill, this workshop will help you understand the complexities of financing or transitioning specialized farm properties. You’ll also learn about the importance of business planning as you consider new ventures to benefit your farm. This presentation sponsored by Aspire Grant & Development.
