Gardening for Pollinators and People

Pollinators are integral to human life on earth, and gardening for them can be easy and rewarding. Whether you’re starting a big new garden from scratch or filling in a few empty spaces in a tiny urban garden, you can support nearby pollinators. This workshop looks at some of the top plants for pollinators, and it teaches about key local pollinator species (and how to attract them). Each of the species has its own preferences for food, shelter, and water, which inform a garden’s design. Explore ways to create gardens that provide for the pollinators, while also creating opportunities for you to enjoy them.
