Windy Meadows Family Farm
David Hale began working on the family farm at the tender age of 6, helping his grandfather raise cattle. He was general manager of the farm when it made the transition to a full-time operation in 2000. His experience includes owning and operating a hatchery, sheep, cattle, turkeys, goats, egg production, livestock pasture rotation, processing facility management, managing a blueberry farm, and raising pastured poultry that has been consumed in the finest restaurants in Dallas. Hale raises large-scale pasture-raised broilers with his family in Texas at Windy Meadows Farm.David is a contributor to Mother Earth News Fair Online.
