Christine Martin was born to a ranching family in Argentina, raised in Brazil, and moved to Michigan to earn a bachelor’s in business at Eastern Michigan University and a master’s in agricultural economics at Michigan State University. She worked as an international agricultural commodities trader, and most recently as an oil and gas trader. She now lives in Madison County, Texas, where she raises clean and nutrient-dense lamb, pork, beef, turkey, and eggs to help customers heal their bodies. Martin is passionate about food as medicine, regenerative agriculture, and Holistic Management, and she works as a consultant (contracting with individuals and teaching courses). As an HMI-Certified Educator (in Training), she works to help others learn to manage their resources in a way that keeps the business, land, family, and community healthy.Christine will be speaking at the Texas Fair.
