Southern Exposure Seed Exchange

Ann Codrington is an environmental scientist and farmer. Although raised in the city, Codrington has always grown vegetables, and her desire to help others grow vegetables inspired her to volunteer with the Peace Corps after college. She owns Nisani Farm, and specializes in growing ginger and turmeric using no synthetic chemicals or fertilizers. Her farm is Certified Naturally Grown, and she focuses on reducing her environmental footprint by using unheated high tunnels to grow foods locally that are traditionally grown in faraway places.

Ann will be speaking at the North Carolina, Maryland Fairs
