Albert Bates is founder of the Ecovillage Training Center at The Farm in Tennessee, past president of Global Ecovillage Network, and author of 16 books on history, ecology, and the future, including The Biochar Solution and BURN: Using Fire to Cool the Planet. He was co-recipient of the first Right Livelihood Award (1980) for the work of his organization, Plenty, and his ecovillage, The Farm, in preserving the cultures of indigenous peoples. He designs drawdown ecovillages, ecodistricts, and economies.

Learn to create, prepare, condition and turbocharge your biochar to get the most from it. This is an interactive student practicum.
