Preparing and Preserving Elderberry Webinar sponsored by Lehman’s – Aug. 19
Advance Registration Sold Out
Hosted by John Moody
Wednesday, Aug. 19, 3 p.m. CDT (Note: The time is CENTRAL. Please plan accordingly.)
The amazing elderberry happens only once a year for a few weeks, but with a little knowledge and skill, you can make it available for your family year round!
Learn a number of ways to preserve and prepare elderberries – freezing, steam juicing, and dehydrating – along with other elderberry lore and laughter during this informative webinar on one of humanity’s oldest plant allies, the elderberry!
This 90-minute webinar is an opportunity to interact with a leading authority and educator on elderberry. It’s FREE, thanks to our sponsor Lehman’s. Space for the live event is limited to the first 500 participants who arrive. We will also record the webinar for access by all registered participants to view at a later date.
On the morning of Wednesday, Aug 12, you’ll receive an email invitation with instructions on how to join the webinar, which is being hosted through Zoom. Note: An internet connection is required along with the Zoom app. Participants won’t have their cameras enabled, but you’ll be able to view the host and participate in the Q&A. More information on Zoom webinars can be found by clicking the link at the bottom of this description. If you’ve never participated in a Zoom meeting or webinar, we strongly recommend that you read over the tutorial before this event.
About John Moody: The Moody family farms and homesteads on 35 acres in Kentucky. John discovered more than a decade ago that his diet was killing him, with duodenal ulcers, seasonal allergies, and other health problems. So, the family began to transition to local foods and local food distribution. Eventually, he relocated his family to 35 acres of land to put his learning into practice. He has two books forthcoming to help growers and gardeners, one on soil and one on small-scale farm infrastructure.
