Photo and Video Policy
The content presented at the Mother Earth News Fair is copyrighted and is the property of Mother Earth News/Ogden Publications. Permission and appropriate attribution is required for any use of images or video other than for personal use.
Any attendee of the Mother Earth News Fair—including exhibitors and/or qualified press—who wishes to photograph or film at the show for use for anything other than personal use is required to check in onsite to receive authorization upon each day of filming.
All media – including live TV, webcasters and nationally syndicated film crews – must check in at the Fair information desk to receive a press badge and must be escorted by a member of event management in order to photograph and/or shoot video at the show unless otherwise permitted by Fair management.
Photographers or videographers who are asked to attend by an exhibitor or sponsor are not eligible for a press badge and should request a badge from the sponsoring company. Exhibitors and their private consultants are permitted to photograph and videotape their own booth only.
Photographers and videographers are required to obtain permission before filming any exhibitor’s booth and must refrain from filming those who do not grant permission.
Qualified press who have obtained press passes and are photographing and/or filming at the show may not, under any circumstances, solicit payment from exhibitors for service.
Attendee indemnifies and holds harmless Mother Earth News Fair and Ogden Publications Inc., their respective parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, with respect to any claims from any third party claims whatsoever arising from Attendee’s media activities under this waiver.
Those who are found to not be in compliant with any of the above will have their press passes immediately revoked and may be banned from future events.
